My Daughter Left the Nest and Returned an S-Rank Adventurer · review
Fun and heatwarming slop. Sure, it's not going to win any awards, and the production quality is clearly limited by budget. But it's a heartwarming story about a family, and the challenge of balancing being a hero with having a family life. The characters are fun and well-developed (for a fantasy slice-of-life at least), the world and story are vibrant and engaging. True, nothing really stands out as great or spectacular, and the daughter's obsession with her father could be grating if you don't feel the comedy in it, but it's a solid and entertaining show. I found myself wanting a sequel immediately after finishing, andit's disappointing there's no word on one.
It's not the greatest show in any category by a long shot, but if you are even slightly interested or intrigued by the premise, or just need something lighthearted or heartwarming to watch, then this more than satisfies.
