Review of Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld Part 2

I've come to expect... less than stellar things from SAO. It's had its ups and downs, and War of Underworld was nothing but filler. Until now. This was 11 episodes of pure fan service. And boy did I eat it up. Whilst most of the series in terms of story, art design and sound were fairly bog standard and to be expected from A1 and SAO, highlights included many of the big fight scenes with some almost Madhouse reminiscent animation, and the music was pure callbacks to the earlier series. This series is SAO at its peak: absolutely nothing of value, except for pure, unadulterated childlike fan service.
