Review of Blue Period

If it weren't for the fact that I was a fan of the manga, I couldn't imagine getting into this show with ease. With that being said, the anime feels very stale and lackluster- the beauty in the show resides with the characters and their hardships which as an experience is better told in the Manga. The animation and art is mediocre~standard. For a show about passion and identity I would've hoped they splurged their banks to make this show visually beautiful (I mean common animation studios :( what are you doing) but at its most it looks like your any other 5/10 show. Withthat being said, I still enjoyed it but would probably recommend the manga over watching it.
