Review of The Rising of the Shield Hero

Story(8) - The story isn't exactly anything new or original but as an isekai its done very well. Art(10) - Good animation and fight scenes. Sound(10) - Very great OP that's catchy and helps the anime more memorable, for me at least Character(8) This ones a little more complicated. To me this anime shines in its beginning with our main characters false rape accusation changing his view of the world that he's suppose to protect. How he changes is very entertaining and the way its hard for him to trust anyone at all in this new world hes was transported to makes you sympathize for him and forme helped grow a connection to the main character. The one thing I do dislike is the Spear and Bow hero. Its like they're in elementary school that just believe any rumors without being able to think for themselves. They try to act so serious but its hard to not kind of be amused at how these characters were made which is just unbelievable. The Sword hero at least seems like he can think for himself. The other heroes don't really develop at all sadly but the main characters still get good development and express emotions fairly well which is where the spotlight is.

Overall Enjoyment(8) - One of the best isekais imo and thoroughly enjoyed it and having confirmed seasons 2 and 3 tells you the show was pretty successful. Definitely recommend if you like isekais at all.
