Review of Nisekoi: False Love
Let me just say this: This is my first review, and I hope all of you enjoy this review as much as I enjoyed this anime. Stop what you're doing right now and start watching this anime. I'm by no means a harem fan, but this is the sole exception. The reason is that one of my favorite animation studios; SHAFT, made this. I was expecting something completely dialogue-heavy with complex humor, and outright random art-style like the monogatari series, however that is not the case. First off, The Story:Overall Rating: 8
The story is by no means original. However, that doesn't make it unenjoyable. Basically, it's boy meets girl ten years ago, boy get's a locket and girl get's key, they get separated by boy moving. The whole anime is about who gave the boy the locket and who has the key, and basically most of the girls he meets have a key and it's a mystery about who has it. One downside is that the story has little to no plot progression, but it still has more than the sequel which is basically filler. *spoiler* by the end of the anime, it's still undecided who gave the boy the locket *end spoiler* Anyway, time to go onto the art.
The Art: Overall Rating: 10
The art style in this anime is simply fantastic, and I don't have any complaints about it. It's bright and cheery, and I would expect nothing less from SHAFT.
The Sound: Overall Rating: 8
The opening and ending soundtrack is very enjoyable, but didn't really pop out to me in any way other than that they are beautiful.
Characters: Overall Rating: 10
The character designs and personalities are all really enjoyable, and they all make for some hilarious moments. Chitoge is best girl, and *spoiler* Raku realizes this in the manga *end spoiler*
Enjoyment: 10/10
I seriously enjoyed this anime. I dislike harem anime, yet this somehow made me fall in love with the series. I recommend it to everybody.
Don't let anyone else fool you, Chitoge is best girl and everybody knows it.
