A Log Day of Timbre might not be Mirai’s best work, but it’s still a nice and entertaining to look at. That is, if you’re already familiar with the work of Mirai Mizue or at least used to watching the more artsy side of the anime. Someone for whom this is a first time experience with this type of anime will most likely be confused, and might be asking “Where is the damn story?!”, among other questions. The thing is, there was never supposed to be a set story with this. You’re free to add whatever story you want with the imagination, but at corethis is a surrealistic short animation with the purpose of being nice and cool to look at. That’s it. And Mirai’s hand-drawn high effort colourful animation fills this purpose very well

There’s nothing more this needs to be, just enjoy the two minutes of someone’s passion on animation put onto your screen.
