Fire Force is one of those Anime I never expected to go in and actually enjoy it, in fact, the only reason I watched the show was because I started on episode 1 and wanted to get it out of the way before I started on Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl.. At around 12 episodes in I realized this Anime was gold, pulling the line between FullMetal Alchemist and Soul Eater with glorious sound design and equally impressive animation. The concepts the show presents are also solid and nearly every episode we're introduced to new characters or exploring already established ones even deeper. The world-building isinteresting as well with one scene somewhere around the midway point that had the potential to be the most beautiful scene I've seen all year in Anime but unfortunately falls a little bit short.

In fact, it does fall short in a few ways due to how condensed it is there's a bit of a struggle with pacing and it feels like it is rushing where other shows like BNHA is more comfortable with slowing down, in fact, a lot of this show feels like it's to the quality of BNHA and potentially even better but that's hard to really hard to pinpoint why.

It might just be with how the story itself is structured that could be holding it back from being better, but that doesn't stop it at all from being fantastic!

Imma give this one an 8.5/10
