Nothing revolutionary but unexpectedly realistic. The turn of the story about Poseidon's motivations was unexpected for a story from this long ago, yet it made sense. The harsh nature of the cities, scams, and crime and poverty going hand in hand was very unexpected themes for this story but it was done very well imo. The story never relayed gifts for the characters for no reason but to let people not pity them, which I appreciated. Also, the imouto loli character won over 2 fully grown(ish) mature women. Seems like incest is wincest, even if you're in the 1950s. Bittersweet ending. Overall an enjoyable read tokill some time.
