This is my first Shin-chan movie and I gotta say I am very much a fan of this movie and series going forward. Since I love Japanese history and war stories, this seemed up my alley but it was much more than that. Never has a movie made me this emotionally invested in these characters and see the deeper meaning in all of it. This movie perfectly captures the feelings of war and how devastating it can be. "Butt-abei" is one of my new favorite characters ever, because he plays like a father figure to Shin-chan. The ending of this movie made me cry somuch harder than any anime movie had, the death of Butt-abei and the giving Shin-chan his father's knife is a sign that Butt-abei saw Shin-chan like his own son and he is giving the knife to remember him by. It's a beautifully tragic scene that will resonate me to this day. I would recommend anyone to watch this movie. Shin-chan Movie 10 gets a solid 10/10 from me
