Spoiler warning
This review may discuss plot details.
Wagwan! Alexandre desu. The Plot The title says Next, so you would assume it is the continuation of their previous work, but it is the prologue history of how Elile, Roji an Lifile met and what their goals. Elile, wants to become strong and trains every day to achieve that. Roji is a princess and heir of a kingdom. Lifile is a general in Roji's army. The plot is simple. Elile and Roji fell in love, but Lifile doesn't want that relationship because of the usual political stuff, he isn't a noble or comes from a good family, isn't strong enough is not fit to be kingand all that. The "movie" ends on a cilff hanger because Lifile proves to Elile that he is not strong enough and decides to end the relationship and run away to get stronger, maybe.
The Cons
The animation is probably the worst part. It looks like a PowerPoint with the transitions from left to right, up and down. There were some parts where I thought I was playing Pokémon on the Game Boy Color when you go to the grass and encounter a random Pokémon because the animation is the same. They re-use the same animation when Elile is training, like five or six times. And to give you an inside, the training is basically him swinging is blade on air (that he never uses on a real person).
The Neutral
Only Lifile, in my opinion, was the sane one in the all story. He had military and political motives to impede the relationship of the other two and for that, he receives bonus points but, and it is a big but, I am pretty sure he had pedophile thoughts about Roji, so negative points.
The Pros
My ability to forget about this anime in the next days is the best part of this anime.
The Conclusion
Do not recommend, even if you are a fan of the RPG game or you need to waste 25 min of your life.
