The underlying sensuality is attractive. I like when a couple is portrayed with passion without being vulgar. There are beautiful scenes of kisses, hugs and caresses, where you can feel how palpable their desire for each other is. The supporting characters are not better people than the protagonists. You can enjoy the dynamics of the characters and backstories. In particular, the reactions to the homosexual relationship are realistic (which I thinkis important). A useful way to reinforce the bond between the two.

The poetic language and panels are beautiful. I have rarely seen an old manga have such well-assembled paneling.
