Baoh · review
Baoh starts off relatively slow and somewhat mediocre; the characters are largely all bland. Yet, by the end, it manages to improve, leaving me wishing for more. After around the halfway mark, however, there are a lot of charming moments, the old couple are very endearing characters, and we get to have more time expanding on *who* Ikurou is. The fights have some pretty solid moments, the artwork during them is absolutely killer (especially the gore), as a whole, Baoh finds itself feeling like a somewhat rushed manga with some heavy inspiration from Kamen Rider (both series begin on incredibly similar starts when you comparethem, and our protagonist is reminiscent of Takeshi Hongo), yet still manages to be charming enough to be enjoyable despite the rushed tone, I'd say if you're either a fan of Toku, or of Araki's works, it's definitely worth the read
