This version of Yu-Gi-Oh was based on the manga. It's a different Yu-Gi-Oh! but it's still Yu-Gi-Oh! refered to as season 0 by english otaku's. This 27 episode series follows the Manga it's a bit more censored due to the very dark events that happen in the manga. When it was adapted for TV they had to tone down things. In never got an offical dub in the west however there are a few Fan-Dubs in the works. I've only seen Team Millanium's dub and they're are currently on episode 9/27. This is probably due to it's dark nature. I give it an 8 it's adiffernt Yu-Gi-Oh! but it's still Yugioh! It has its share of animation mistakes ,the soundtrack is decent love the ending theme and the main theme . like most toei animes it is very 90s. Currently rewatching and will watch and save once the Fan dub is complete. Would recomend to any fans of Yu-Gi-Oh!
