This is basically like if you grab a by-the-book 2000s BL and gave it a facelift. Despite the 2019 release and the beastmen characters, the tropes and dynamics feel very much at home with old BLs. Yes, the SA as form of anger included. And this really shows how unnecessary it is. With the direction the story takes, Krieg does not need to do all that. Every other parts of the story strained because of that single act. And then the uke goes all saintlike and brushed it off just like the BLs of yore. The art is nice, but I cannot enjoy this story.
