TLDR: Death Note 2.0 ?!?!!!, lots of potential, fairly interesting - keep an eye on it Another review said "The protagonist feels like he was made specifically to rake in pseudo-intellectuals who unironically think they're smart but are just lazy." - sry for not citing u properly lazy lol, but damn this is accurate. I guess this is also an attack on my personality but as a "ego of a smart person yet lazy" I do feel intrigued by the plot and have hopes for the MC. As with many manga that are just starting it's pretty random and there's many fish in the sea so Ionly pay attention if I think it's worth/interesting and also has room to improve or mystery. There's also some potential quality upside in the future and Death Note comparisons are accurate to be honest; that gives me hope as I could easily envision this having some pretty hype/enjoyable mind games. There's also a lot of mystery and the premise has a lot of room to grow. The characters are interesting and have potential.
The best critiques of other reviews that I agree with are too much info dump and bad pacing, BUT it's not egregiously bad info dump (also if it is death note 2.0 then I'll welcome the gigabrain mindgames) and also its hard to fault the beginning of a story with pacing because there is room for the story to develop.
