HayaTera will cause high blood sugar. If you are intolerant to sweetness, consult your physician before reading. A solid 7/10, the mangaka should be praised for accomplishing her stated goal: a sweet and fluffy yuri romance between adult characters, with spicy scenes between innocent lovers, and without conflict or drama. Yes, this is a fantasy. No attempt was made at realism or realistic drama. This was intended to be a fluffy Valentines Day card of a manga, to be read while wearing rose-colored glasses and sipping jasmine tea under the kotatsu. So go elsewhere if you want conflict, doubt, love triangles, or tears of sadness.HayaTera doesn't just give you one happy ending, but is one happy ending after another for four volumes!
If I must consider the negatives, it is too long. 3 volumes would have been fine, although I would not know what to leave out. In the end, the reader will be caught up in the excitement of the mangaka, who obviously enjoyed creating this sweet story. And I will try to find more of her work in English. The art is just right. The sweetness and love jump off the pages. It leaves the reader smiling and hopeful about the future. Well done Ohi Pikachi!
