It's a very rare non shota offering from Tsukumo Gou. In fact, compared to how dark his shota stories can be, I think it's safe to say that this is him trying to appeal to a more mainstream BL taste. The result is pretty solid. The premise is still a bit PWP-ish, but the execution does have a heart. Tsukumo Gou's melancholic storytelling still shines here. The dynamics between the seme and the uke are cute, and the seme in particular is a bara stereotype I wish we have more of in BL. Do I wish for more smut? Yes. Do I wish for a happier, more definiteending? Yes. But do I enjoy this? Heck yes. A lot more than his shota offerings.
