Amateur Vigilante · review
This is a story about a middle aged man who doesn't have much going for him. His name is Ojiro. At first the reader may think he is a nobody, just thinks of conspiracies and plans to assasinate corrupt politicians. But soon we'll realise he is a man of action. This is a simple story, high violence, mostly realistic....but you've got to believe in Ojiro's strength. Art. 7/10 Simple art, but the action scenes are great. All characters look different enough, so that's always a plus. A little but of fan service is also present. Story 7/10 It is a simple straightforward story. No bigsurprises. But it is still engaging. I've read 72 chapters so far, in 2 days. Very good pace.
Characters. 7/10
In this world of violence all characters seem extreme. But it is fitting for such a violent and dark manga. Ojiro is likeable enough. And slowly the other guys are becoming more interesting.
Overall. 8/10
If you are looking for a quick read.... dark violent, action packed, a fighter for justice. This is it! I enjoyed reading so far, and want more.
This is not a light, romantic comedy. Not much of mystery either. It feels like the Korean movie -- The Raid.
Thanks for reading !
