This could have been better. It has a slow start, and while I do like ecchi anime, there are a few issues with this one, The obvious age gap between the characters, we have a young boy who's just 16, and a mature succubus demon woman who looks 25-30 in age range, and then it throws in a relationship element But that's not all, because she keeps jumping on top of him every 5 seconds and kissing him constantly, should we progress the plot? or should we have another kissing scene? It's been 5 minutes since the last kissing scene, let's have another one, otherwise people might forgetthat this is an ecchi anime!

When we do get time to focus on the plot, the plot is... entirely unexplained and we have no idea what is actually going on, because that might have involved focusing on things that weren't kissing. So the plot is a series of events and just a general backdrop for the whole thing, and that is a shame, because the setting looked interesting, and the background plot could have been good if given a bit more time and focus.
As for characters... As per usual the main character is rather undeveloped and lacks in personality and character. Vermeil is fleshed out somewhat and is given some development as the series goes on, and the side characters are generally more interesting, but not given enough time or development.

This is one of those where there could have been a good anime here, where there are things that are interesting and some ideas and characters (side characters) that have some real promise. But we don't get that, because what we do get is rather disappointing in comparison.
There are things that I dislike about it, and there are things I did like which made scoring it hard as it is on that knifes edge
