Review of Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld Part 2

Amateur review, All right, then let me just give my completely honest review on the new sao alicization series. One of the things that ANYONE could notice is that, IT'S A TOTAL CRINGE FEST. I'm not one of those people who says "sao is bad and s1 is much better" (well, I say that "sometimes"). However, the cliché moments that was happening in this series was just too much to bare. One of which was how the other side characters waiting for kirito to be concious, while they do "something" or like absolutely nothing that would contribute in the plot. Other characters finding love, defeating enemieswith the power of friendship and stuffs, and a bunch of trash "comeback moments." It did have it share of badness, yet it was not a complete trash. I like the first season and was anticipating this season, as well. I can't say that the wait was worth, but it's better than nothing, I guess. Old characters rejoining from s1 and s2, and even from the movie excited me. The fight scenes were not as great as the past season, but it's all right. The opening and ending though, it was pretty good. With all the things people are saying that the anime has gotten bad, they are not completely wrong. However, if you're going to look at it in an unbiased and an open minded view of things, this is really completely different from the old sao and a completely new one, sao is still decent. Stop comparing season per season and complain about it, and just watch. Regardless, on what the others say, don't mind them, and enjoy this anime just as you enjoyed its first season.
