Review of Tokyo Revengers

Along with Sonny Boy, one of the best animes of 2021. Period. I don't care what anyone says, this anime is gold and whoever said it is a Steins;Gate/Re:Zero ripoff should be wiped out from existence; there's no comparison, at least to me. Both of them have their strengths, and the former is one of my favorite anime of all time. I've never written a review before, but to sum it up, this anime speaks nostalgia in a whole different level. Everything about it evokes that bittersweet feeling of being an adult longing for times past, especially your teenage years, where being dumb, in love andfricking broke wasn't a problem at all.

The characters design could've been better? Unquestionable. Too many plot holes? Absolutely. Stupid time travel trigger? Yes. But I, personally, couldn't care less. Its simplicity is what attracts me, and that's why Tokyo Revengers shone bright in 2021.
