Review of Horimiya
Well just thought I'd give my thoughts on Horimiya since I got a little invested over the last week. I felt the anime went pretty fast halfway so I stopped, read the manga, and came back. Yes, there was a lot skipped, but then again it didn't feel tooooo bad. Manga ended up dragging along near the end. Story-wise, it was cool at the start but started to go flat halfway through imo. Wish I could have seen more development with characters like Iura, Sawada, Motoko, Tanihara, and heck probably even Yanagi. He felt a bit out of place by the end. It is called Hori andMiyamura though so fair enough.
Art, sound, and character designs were the highlights I'd say. Especially the sound. I loved it throughout and its usage was always at the best times.
I did enjoy Horimiya's anime in the end, and I'd say 13 episodes were more than enough, otherwise it might've dragged on like the manga (albeit sad some stuff didn't get adapted, making for some odd gaps here and there)
Would recommend it if you're in the mood for something quick and wholesome.
