Review of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End

The first thing after finishing this popped up from me was - “I wish I could erase my memories of Frieren so I could experience the thrill of watching it again with fresh eyes.” This is my thoughts after finishing it but— When I first started watching it, it was the highest rated anime of all time on MAL(and still is when I am writing this) but I had my doubts to even start this cause every anime which was highest rated and was at #1 in previous seasons like bocchi the rock & oshi no ko were not really that great they were just overhyped andI was disappointed. So I was really hesitant to watch this.

As someone who has watched more than 300+ animes, I am really picky about what to watch this days. There are some great nd one of the best titles I have yet watch but if the first few eps aren’t good I get demotivated and I stop watching anime altogether for some time.

As picky and childish I am I have to say this—-

First few eps of Frieren were not really promising to me like the premise was hero’s party has defeated the demon lord and its peaceful era now and the story progressed slowly. I was like is it going to be a aftermath of the battle or an adventure of Frieren making new friends now that she’s all alone. So I stopped watching it after 6th ep, and picked it up after few months and I went back to the good old days of binge watching an anime. I binged it and left with a feeling—

“I really wonder if I will ever see a complete anime like this again.”

It will be hard to match the greatness of Frieren anytime soon.

So I hope more people will watch this and those who are confused about watching this and those who can’t continue watching it trust me you will never regret watching this.
