Review of Chainsaw Man

To be honest I expected more. Show came with a sizable amount of hype preceding it. Initial episodes felt very competent and all of us waited for the big thing to happen. Sadly it never came. After twelve episodes it feels like a prequel to a much more interesting story which was constantly being hinted at. New season came and there's no continuation being announced so the whole thing feels like a big magic trick but you are not allowed to see it just yet. Animation was CGI at moments it seems but it wasn't too distracting. All the closeups and scenes where we are supposeto see emotions expressed were done by hand. So things fit in nicely.

Overall, if there's ever a continuation of this series, I would recommend watching this. As it stands on its own, I don't since you will be left with more questions than answers and huge desire to see more...
