Aesthetically it's very distinctive, and the characters are pretty interesting, but I feel like some stuff was left unexplained. This season sets up a bunch of Chekov's guns that it doesn't resolve, which would be fine IF it had a satisfying narrative arc of its own, which it doesn't. There was no momentum in the last few episodes, I kept waiting for something resembling a climax moment and it didn't really come. The first half is much stronger. I would say just wait for another season to come out before watching this, unless you're interested in going through the manga as soon as you finish watchingthis. I'm definitely gonna pick up the manga at some point because it feels like this season ended in the middle of some arc in the manga.
