Review of BOFURI: I Don't Want to Get Hurt, so I'll Max Out My Defense.

Saw people recommending this a lot 12 weeks ago. They said it's funny and all so I gave it a chance. I enjoyed the first two episodes a lot. The scenery was great (the only reason I began watching it tbh), the OP seemed catchy, and it seemed like a nice and fun anime to watch. However, after 12 episodes, I have to say I neither had fun watching this. And the amount of times I laughed/giggled is less than five. The good: The art is great. OP/ED and the insert song is pretty nice/catchy. But gets very boring very quickly. The bad: Literally everything. From the boring story,to boring characters, to boring fights, etc. etc. Just plain boring. I had to force myself to finish watching the rest. Mainly because I don't like dropping shows.

If you are into cute girls doing cute things that are not funny but people pretend it is, then give this a try. You might like it, who knows.

If you are someone who enjoys shows like SAO or MILF Isekai, then give this a try. You might like it.
