Review of Gushing over Magical Girls

Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete falls short and feels largely forgettable. While it includes some risqué scenes, it doesn’t offer anything particularly fresh or unique. The character designs, especially concerning age portrayals, are questionable and may not be in good taste. The production quality is notably low, with animation that feels stiff. Although there are a few brief moments where the art direction and animation stand out, these instances are rare and amount to only a few seconds of screen time. Both the story and plot are lackluster, and the fight scenes are disappointing. Despite the anime’s efforts to attract viewers with provocative content, the raunchyscenes come across as stale and boring. Overall, Mahou Shoujo ni Akogarete is best avoided, as there are many better anime in the genre.
