Seeing as how the only other review is a 4, I thought I'd make my own comments about Aki-sensei's work. If you're looking for an original shoujo story, you won't find it here (then again, shoujo ideas have been recycled so much that it's hard to find an original one). However, for the limitations of the genre, I'd say Fetish Berry did a good job keeping me entertained, and there were even some unexpected twists to boot! Story - 6 - MINOR SPOILER ALERT I gave the plot a 6 because it's so generic and 80% predictable. The main heroines are somewhat unique, butall the plot devices used are just obvious. The manga takes place in a school and is about a girl named Mizuhara, who struggles with a ... body part fetish. One of the main heroes, Narita, finds out and makes her his "servant." Insert a childhood friend who is secretly in love with Mizuhara and a bishoujo who has her own secret, and you have the recipe for a predictable shoujo manga. Like I said, there were some things that happened to the characters that surprised me, but I could still see most of the events coming from miles away. Still, the manga-ka executed very well, and I enjoyed most of what I've read so far, even if I was expecting most of it.

Art - 9
I don't know why, but I like Aki-sensei's art style, so my score may be a bit biased. I read Houou Gakuen Misoragumi, and loved the art there too. Mizuhara's dramatic expressions are great and the bishoujo, Asahina, is gorgeous. The chibis are also adorable and each style is used properly in each situation to produce the most 'funny' or 'emotional' effects. Some might call her art plain at first, and I'll admit, the colored cover pages tend to be boring, but once you start reading, you'll begin to notice how versatile the art is.

Character - 7
I went over a bit of this in the story, but the characters are pretty cookie cutter, aside from the main heroines. Though to be honest, I've seen Asahina's type of character in other manga too, so she's not AS unique as Mizuhara. But, unique fetishes aside, everyone ends up being standard shoujo models, so if the two main girls didn't have those unique features, I'd probably score Character at a 5.

Enjoyment - 9
tldr; Fetish Berry may seem predictable, but there are a few interesting plot twists. The manga-ka's sense of humor is also awesome (to me) and I thought the manga was pretty funny overall.

Overall - 8
If you don't mind reading "the same old thing" with a twist, then definitely give Fetish Berry a try. I will warn you though, that Aki-sensei has a very particular sense of humor. I personally think it's awesome, and it carries over from Houou Gakuen Misoragumi, but not many people will feel the same way.
