Review of Akira

······· SPOILER-FREE Superb fluid animation that doesn't age badly at all but a clusterfuck of a plotline and a very questionable drawing style (why the f do all the characters look the same with different clothes). A good movie for me is the one that when finished you look for more information and makes you think/talk about it. But if that searching/thinking process is towards it's understanding and 'wtf did I just watch'-feelings, it failed as an entertainment piece. And Akira left me with 0 meditation and 0 debate (I had to search for the manga to try to understand what was it's purpose).
