Depressing and terrifying story from a perspective I normally don't encounter or think about. Feeling that your whole value lies in how young and beautiful you are. How it's only a ticking clock until you get old and lose your youth and you're suddenly worthless and forgotten. Which might be the same thing as being dead. Those are scary thoughts and even if you can't relate you can still feel the dread from the main character and her failing mental state. It also touches on the subject the lengths some will go to reach beauty and how people who are born beautiful might take itfor granted. The art style is very different and could by some be called ugly and off putting. But I feel that it fits the story well
