I read the novel first which may be the reason that the manga version disappointed me so much in the art. The novel was gruel-some and let you see inside people who thought they were going to die at any second but the manga was to light and had a sense of hope which ruined it for me. I didnt get the sense of pain and horror i got when reading the novel plus they didnt release the second manga in english which makes me hate my incomplete set
