I think this is a pretty decent look into the problems that come with being openly LGBTQ in the eastern world. Be warned when you read this that there is a LOT of homophobia and that the story kind of concludes in a very weird way. The story of our two FL's struggling to fall in love peacefully, the fear of coming out, appearing straight and LGBTQ people experiencing internalised homophobia is a bit more of a unique story I've not seen a lot of in main stream LGBTQ+ manga stories. Behind the Curtain excels the most when the actual romance itself isn't the main stage. Myfavourite arc, personally, was when juyeon was struggling to act straight, eventually coming to terms with the fact that she is a lesbian and that she can't be anything that she isn't.
The ending was rushed and didn't give Mikyeong her dues and honestly kind of ruined the build up and finale.
The art is pretty good, not anything awe inspiring but it does look aesthetically very cute and girly.
