When the protag turns 15 he gets the worst class possible, and knowledge that the world is based on a game he played in a former life. He then uses both these, to break the game over his knees as he gets stronger. While the 15 year old thing is basically never mentioned again, and having him be that age is frankly strange given his behaviour after exile, this is a really fun one. Instead of the protag being op or becoming op too soon, it's a story of gear and skill progression to become overpowered, and each battle is really hard fought too. And sincethey explicitly state skills and mechanics it really does feel grounded, if fantastical at times.

Characters are interesting, though they're not super deep. Plots have good tension and twists, and while the "I'm monologuing everything" stuff can feel odd, it really does ground you in Elymas's thinking and actions.
