A lot of people are making this series seem way worse than it is. Sure, it may not be a totally new thing and draws a lot of parralels to other Shonen classics but I see it as an homage to the 2000s if anything in quite a refreshing way. Enishiro is a fun protagonist that gives off a crude sweetheart vibe as he's lived a double life all up until the start of the show and the cast really isn't as annoying as others make them out to be. Another point is that the power system is surprisingly fresh all things considered. Mixing technology andtraditional spirit power tropes will give off a little bit of "To Aru/A certain" series which will be enjoyable to some.
