Just a fine little slice of life, very short, and cute art. The blend of mythological and real life is perfectly fine in such short form, strange to see the human form hit on high school girls under the guise of them being maidens, but it's one of the realities I guess you'd face in a world like that. Wish we got more of the neighbor character because she was hated and seen as mean so would love to see her inner thoughts outside of the brief mentions of her. Though I wish I could see more about each character, I guess the longer thenarrative goes the more room to mess up there is, and perhaps criticisms build then. Its brevity is its strength, a cute exploration of a silly idea that, because it's handled in a 7/10 form, it's just right for a bite sized escape, truly the slice of life of all time.
