Run away from your busy life its something we all have thought about, but almost none of us follow through with it. Hinoto and Haru did just that, but life still goes on running from one issue gets you caught in another web of issues. Running from Toyoko to a remote island only makes the issue worst. They still need jobs and money but remote island has less opportunities but the one thing they will always have is each other. This manga is brutal to its to main leads, it never gives them a win even small ones but one thing remains true they have eachother and that gives them happiness and they hold onto and cling to that fact for dear life.

The manga gives you the sense that these two will solve everything and have a happy island life and in the final 3 chapters its just a gut punch that says welcome to the real world you naive kids. The manga ends where it starts. Making the entire manga seem pointless but they get back to that starting point treasuring each other more and an understanding of what they have to do to achieve happiness
