Tamon's B-Side · review
as many people have said it before, this series is literally a love letter to oshi culture! it offers a very sweet perspective of fangirling (though the main character can be pretty intense about it) in a story where the fan and the idol share a genuine connection. the side characters' stories contribute nicely to the comedy and the "B-side" theme of the series since everyone shares such a stark contrast with their idol personas! it's hilarious to see how different the guys act behind closed doors. the characters go through slowly-paced development such as the FL slowly getting to know the ML better and seeing himmore as a genuine person rather than an all-mighty god. the romance also develops slowly, which gets you hooked and leaves you wanting for more. the ML struggles to forge a friendship with the FL due to their complicated relationship and it evolves into a sweet connection where both parties share deep affection for one another.
that being said, i'm a huge fan of oshi culture and participate in some of the activities shown in the series like oshikatsu, making oshi shrines, going to concerts, and i find the representation of fangirling very accurate! (i totally understand the FL's enthusiasm and exaggerated personality towards her oshi)
if you're a sucker for gorgeous art and slow comedy romance, definitely give this series a try!
