Spoiler warning

This review may discuss plot details.

There is slow burn and then there is this. This was such a boring read, there is no romantic moments with the two main characters during the first 3 chapters. They barely even interact and then the story drags out through what seems to be a whole year. We see them go on a mini vacation together which isn't technically a vacation, the MC invited the ML over to his grandmas house because he was the last one home (in their rental) who didn't go and visit family. They open up a bit about their family situation yet nothing else, then next thing you knowit's the start of autumn and the ML hasn't been home in who knows how long so no interaction there, then finally another timeskip and it's now christmas. How are we supposed to feel any romance between them when it's mostly the other side characters interacting with the MC. This was just horribly written as a romance. This doesn't even count as a slow burn, this is something else. I don't recommend, unless you have absolutely nothing else to read and lots of time. I had to drop it during chapter 4 because it just wasn't showing any romance or much interaction between them. Yes there was some during chapter 1 but then it's like bam time skips and they don't have any conversation during those times because one is barely ever home. Realisticly speaking one would lose feelings or interest in this type of situation. Author could have written way more interaction with them or at least more cute moments that could make the characters keep thinking about them regardless of time passing yet didn't.
