A Mother's Love, a Daughter's Prison · review
Reading this kind of made me feel anxious and I think that’s what the manga intended and accomplished well. It’s pretty realistic and intense of how an overly bearing mom and suffocating daughter’s relationship can exist and lead to tragedy. I really liked the art style which at sometimes the facial expressions are drawn to look terrifying which really suits the plot. I do find the story becoming more repetitive tho because it felt like a cycle of the mc getting hopeful then crushed then again and again which is predictable which I think helps with the vibe but it made the ending pretty easyto guess
It’s a pretty frustrating read and can be triggering to some people but but I personally still enjoyed it
