Look, the art is unique and striking, and I think the author gets the visuals really well. Callahan is also hot as sin. Let's not play around. The plot, however... feels more like a Korean drama that happens in a Wild West world instead of a Wild West story with BL. It's random, it's drama for the sake of drama, and I think it does affect the story quite a bit. There's a lot of emotional nuance in the two characters that can be explored and the story just...doesn't. And the romance between Callahan and Johnny doesn't feel that well-meshed. They only barely moved past Stockholm Syndrome. Again,the art is stellar. You will definitely enjoy this, but some parts of me does wish that the story can be better.
