I’ve only read the first chapter, but this manga really has a nice and thoughtful atmosphere to it, in a way that tugs at the heart in small ways, and makes one give a little smile in appreciation of the simple things. It’s not heavy-handed feels, but quiet and yet somewhat poignant in ways, which is perfect for a one-shot. I do have decent hopes for the other three untranslated chapters I haven’t read yet based on a bit of the author’s other work, but I may change my mind about this when I read more. It’s short, so no harm just trying it out.
