I didn't see this shoujo manga being so dark so soon. When you first start reading it, you would expect it to be heartwarming, but as you progress and get to know the characters, it becomes tragic. Adults can do such horrible things to their children, it's just awful and heartbreaking, and you feel bad for the main characters who had to flee their broken households. This manga serves as a wake-up call to people which is urging them to assist those in distress the best they can if they are facing violence in any manner. I really wish though this wasn’t less than 2chapters because I felt this manga was rushing it and I had tons of questions that didn’t seemed to be answered properly in this manga :(
