Review of Devilman: Crybaby

._. ._. ._. ._. ._. ._. ._. ._. So I read the reviews and most people had a lot of negative things to say about this anime. TBH I agree with some half way. When I started watching this it was hard to understand and hard to enjoy because it looked like a typical hentai splash. It had no substance what so ever in the first few episodes. But I saidok let me continue, as it went along I started to question the plot a bit more, the story line was finally getting interesting. In the end I had to give it props. Some serious props. This anime is so bold I can't think of another anime that can compare to it on the spot.

When it comes to depicting a messed up reality in terms of Christianity and one's own belief. This anime is top tier. S rank

This type of anime is not for someone who doesn't have a clear understanding of the bible, you won't be able to understand the plot at all. You need to have an open mind to enjoy this. The reason why I say that is not because of the constant porn, but the effect it will have on the way you think. I started wondering what was really walking amongst us, is this really what the outside world looks like? what's going to happen in the future and I know this sounds odd but anime ain't just for entertainment to me. Its like life lessons, research, opinions etc. That's what makes devilman: cry baby such a master piece. The world's /human depiction, kind of reminds me of Tanya.

With that being said the graphics/animation is also pretty good. Gives off a feeling from past anime like a low quality production with spark ._. I know that sounds weird but I can't describe it no other way. Its just a master piece in its on right :)
