Review of Black Clover

this review may seem biased as on my profile you can clearly see that I'm a massive black clover fan, and anything to do with Tabata's works. However i will try to give my honest opinion in this review. :) story: Ill be the first to admit that black clover doesn't have the most original story in Shonen, but it doesn't want originality in its story, its a show that you watch if you want cool fights, great characters and just some Shonen fun. To sum it up the story's about a boy named Asta : he's weak and doesn't have any magicto be
seen. Yuno (his adopted brother has insane magic power having the 4 leaf clover
grimoire, this is the most powerful magic one can wield. This creates a rival
relationship between Asta and Yuno however this is no Naruto and Sauskae
relationship. Asta and yuno are friendly rivals this has never really been done
before in a Shonen (at least from what I'm aware.) To give a quick conclusion both
"siblings" join 2 different teams and we mainly follow Asta and his squad as they
beat up bad guys and get powerups : simple premise but perfect execution.

Art:

The art in black clover is ill admit very bad up until the time skip (ep 158.) Its not
bad before by any means before, it just takes some getting used to.

Sound:

The first thing people think about when they think of black clover is the ops. With
ops 3, 7 and 10 being incredibly popular around the anime community. This is for
good reason, they are all incredibly good songs that never get old no matter how
many times you listen to them. As for the actual anime the sound quality is nothing really to write home about, however of course pre-time skip makes everything better including the audio. Over all i give sound a 9/10.

Characters:

The characters in black clover are near perfect for me personally. I love how Asta literally has a haram at his disposal and yet goes for the nun in hopes of marrying her (gets me every time.) Every character has a unique magic attribute building on there characters and progression throughout. Black clover has the best power system in all of anime hands down. each type of magic has a unique counter to it, there's no power of friendship, and the main characters ability's always are close to the villains of the arc, but not close enough for it to be bland and boring. This really helps the characters as there all memorable and unique. 10/10

Overall:

Black clover is a masterpiece no matter what anyone says to me. great characters, power systems and only 11 eps of filler make this one of the new big three without a doubt.
