Black Clover. This anime is the most hit or miss show I've seen and I KNOW it is overhyped and overrated. Anyways. Let's rate it. Apart from the ratings MAL contains (Story, Art, Sound, Character, Enjoyment and Overall), there's three that I take very seriously and that is DIALOGUE, COHERENCE, and PACING. Why are these 3 so important? Because they give meaning to what the show and its progress. I will develop these later on. Now for the basics, let's start with STORY. The story is fine; We have a decent magic system which doesn't develop through the anime, decent hyped moments, and just fine arcs. Overall,the story is what you expect from a shounen.
6/10 Just enough to be positive.

Art / Sound
I don't care, they synergize well with the given story and are good enough to deserve a 10 out of 10.

Characters.
For the characters we have the characteristic weak and dumb protagonist which becomes a POWER MACHINE later on, the edgy best friend, and a broken teacher.
But I'd like to highlight the fire family, it is the reason why CHARACTERS have an 8 instead of a 5 or 6, they are good excuses to develop the plot and were good additions.

Enjoyment.
I'd say I enjoyed this anime enough to not drop it, but I didn't enjoy it enough to praise it, the reason being the shitty dialogues it has which comes along with a corny comedy, which breaks the tension of the moment, which ultimately creates a scene which doesn't make any fucking sense.
For example, they are in the middle of a fight but then they throw some jokes. This breaks the tension and that makes the outcome predictable and not impactful (no one will die or the "good ones" will win).

Dialogue.
Awful, they were corny and predictable.

Coherence.
Barely any coherence during the show, many things doesn't make fucking sense.

Pacing.
I watched this anime at 2x speed, otherwise, I would be sleeping anytime I'd try to watch it.

Overall.
To conclude, I will give this anime a 6 out of 10 because it was good enough to be watchable (only at 2x speed). Not really enjoyable, just at some moments, but still, it was watchable... and irritating...
