It's the 4th season of Full Metal Panic! We, the fans of this series, have waited for this season 13 years and we finally have it... Having said that, I must say that it looks awful. The art and the animation is really bad and only ok at it's best: there are a lot of still images of characters flapping their mouths, a lot of images sliding throu the sceen, a zoom out of a characters completely deforms them and the CGI (cars and mechs) poorly blend with the drawings: they move stiffly and don't appear to be moving in the same plane as theanime... and it's a shame because the Mechas were well done (or at least they didn't felt like moving toys). There are a lot of things I can criticize about it's animation but I can't find the words to describe it...

I trully don't know how to feel about it: in one hand it is what I've been waiting for a long time, but in the other hand it's ugly AF...

Still, it's Full Metal Panic!, so I love it regardless... but I think you'll be better off reading the ligth novel/ manga.

Let's hope that a better studio brings us it's 5th season...
