Review of Amnesia

The anime is based off a graphic novel, just in case you didn't know. I was so pumped when I found out this show exists because I truly enjoyed the game when I played it - years ago, by the way. Unfortunately, after watching the whole anime, including the OVA, I felt like my time was wasted. Story: 5/10 The premise is pretty ok: the lead character has amnesia and she has to learn who she is and who she can/can't trust as the time goes on. But every time she dies, she goes back to another world where things are different, so she must findout what's going on. Although the concept itself is kinda interesting, the plot gets worst every minute it passes. Every episode is the same thing over and over. I understand that is based off a game but the adaptation SHOULDN'T BE EXACTLY LIKE THE GAME.

Art: 10/10
The art is the only good thing about this. The characters are beautiful, as you should expect of a love story anime, and the background is absolutely outstanding. It does fit the story pretty well, but this just goes to waste as you can tell.

Sound: 3/10
The whole show is strangely and disturbingly quiet. Although the intro and outro is pretty cute, the episodes almost doesn't have any sounds besides the character's voices and some of their action's sounds.

Character: 1/10
All of the characters are way too basic and our main character is WAAAY too submissive and shy, even in her thoughts. She can't do anything for herself and relies on the fairy/ghost that's following her, which is also not an interesting character at all. The only characters that you can say it's decent (in relation to the other characters) is Ukyou and maaaybe Toma, and you won't see Ukyou in most of the episodes. All of the characters are basic and empty and you can't see any progression.

Enjoyment: 1/10
I truly had a tiny bit of hope that this could turn out a good anime, but sadly, that's not the case.

You hope that the OVA has some explanation about why the fuck you have more questions than answers at the end of the show but nope, it has more 22 minutes sucked in from your life.

Please don't watch it, just play the graphic novel instead.
