I don't know what to think about it. I expected more. The plot was difficult for me to understand. I couldn't connect with the protagonist either... I have to say that, in comparison with others, he felt emotionless and boring. I couldn't get the message Hayao Miyazaki tried to convey this time. What I liked the most about this movie were the vibrant colors, the animation and the soundtrack, even though I think it is definitely not one of Joe Hisaishi's best works. Give it a try if you like Ghibli movies, but keep your expectations low so it doesn't disappoint you.
