Review of Dororo

I'm going to keep this review as short as possible. Dororo is a good show. It's really good. But it's not great. Something is missing and I can't seem to pinpoint it. Maybe it's the storytelling that's not as gripping as I expect. It started off really good, then lost it's way in the middle, kinda rebounded on the way near the end and stumbled unto the finish line. Maybe the animation - which is kinda lacking - is keeping it from being great. Sure, some fights are good looking but it's a little bland compared to other heavy hitters from this season. It's serviceable but it'svery forgettable.

The characters are great, and they're my favorite part of the show. Everyone seemed to be likable and had some story to tell no matter how little the part. The voice actors are on point and the music are really good. Especially the first OP - HOLYSH!T THAT OP WAS LIT!

Overall I still really enjoyed the show. 8/10
