Review of A Lull in the Sea

No matter how many times I watch and re-watch this anime, it always has the same effect on me. You know that feeling of accomplishment yet you are also a tad bit sad because the fun is over? That's what this anime is all about. If you're a drama queen like me and also a hopeless romantic then you'll love this anime. One of my favourite aspects is the way that they portrayed the characters. Yes there is a main character, but it isn't solely focused on them. I may be a bit biased here but my favourite character would have to be Chisaki Hiradaira.The character development is REAL.
If you're also into an interesting plot twist that shakes the entire anime then 'A Lull in the Sea' is the perfect match for you. It does have a bit of mystery thrown into the story... but it's the good type. I honestly love this anime so much to the point where I'll randomly think about it and get the sudden urge to watch it. You know those anime where you watch it and then whenever you watch another anime you feel slightly empty? Well strap yourself in for a ride because if the story or the characters don't draw you in then the beauty of the animation surely will because no matter what, this anime IS a masterpiece.
